Bye the way my name is Obasi Scott I am the author and creator of www.obasiscott.com, www.basibuildswealth.net and I created this page to find like minded people who wake up every day and say to themselves “THERE HAS GOT TO BE MORE TO LIFE THAN THIS!”
I used to be just like you, and now God has blessed me to have a lifestyle helping people I meet here, MySpace, FaceBook and YouTube from all walks of life, achieve there dreams and I make a lot of money doing it.
But I will get to that later…
Who Is This Obasi Guy Anyway?
I grew up a big lipped kid on the East side of Indianapolis Indiana. I was picked on a lot because I had big lips and I talked with proper english instead of ebonics. Kids in my school always said I was pretending to be something I am not, but in reality I was really I WAS A PRODUCT OF MY ENVIORMENT…
I don’t really like to talk about it much, but the reason why I spoke with such good English is because I did not have a choice. My mom would correct me until she was blue in the face if I did not pronounce a word right. It was compounded by the fact that I did not have a good relationship with my father because he was he never really around enough to pour in my life. But when he was a around he was a good father.
We have a better relationship now, but he is experiencing the pain of wisdom. Because he was so wrapped up in himself during the years he should have been wrapped up in his family, now he is alone and very unhappy. Telling me “Obasi if had to do it all over again I would do so many things different.” Being the student of life I am, I vowed not to never make the same mistake now that I am a Father.
I am a Spirit Filled Conscious God, and *PROUD OF IT*!
I don’t always get it right… That is why I am thankful for father God and Mother of the Universe. Yet I believe your life should give evidence to what you believe, and if you are a believer people should see it in how you live, not what you say! I keep it real because I see no better way to live.
I did my partying, when I was younger, I gave my heart to a girl… But that’s exactly what she as was “a girl” not ready to be a wife… I call it just immaturity. Even though you are surrounded by those who love you… You still can make dumb decisions if there is no wise Council or Mentorship.
That marriage ended in a *DIVORSE* at *AGE 25*.
I almost went crazy and lost my mind, and it is only the grace of God that I am still sane to tell the story…
I have since found my soul mate and gotten remarried…seriously, I can’t explain how good it feels to be on true one accord with my wife. We have a beautiful family and are pursuing our dreams.
I was introduced to my first home business at the age of 19 while attending The Art Institute Of Atlanta. Now with the pressure of classes and such I needed an *EASY TO USE SYSTEM*. I started with ACN, my new sponsor told me “MAKE A LIST OF 100 NAMES OF YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY* I was so excited to find a way to retire at a young age.
This was his promise, “Obasi you set up the meetings, 3way call, and I will do the rest for you!” After several in home meeting and several 3way attempts I figured out *THIS ISN’T WORKING*!
I began to give up on the network marketing idea, and began to search for other ways to make money from home because I wanted the freedom and the lifestyle I saw on the infomercials I watched every weekend… I felt if I am a child of God why shouldn’t I have the best?” My childhood dream to be a millionaire entrepreneur, became a passion!
So I tried car sales, mailing programs, juices, referrals systems, and more network marketing programs. ACN, TNI, Unicity and the list goes on and on…. Not to mention selling getting into a liquidation business and grants.
LOL, OMG….
I even bought the infomercial stuff too! Studying guys like Carlton Sheets, Robert Kiyosaki, and Tony Robbins materials…I figured something has to work.
6 LONG YEARS of home business opportunity’s, books, tapes, and CD’s with nothing to show for it but DEBT, and not money in my pocket!
What happened next, was by accident, clearly the work of God almighty himself.
After being fired from my Multimedia Designer Job on February 14th 2008 because of budget cuts. That was God answering a pray that I need to work for myself.
I started working from home doing freelance graphic design, video production, ebay, and personal training. But in the back of my mind I still felt “There has got to be a better way”
I found a video on Youtube talking about marketing on the internet and Branding yourself online *BY ACCIDENT*.
My first thought was the internet is a place to hang out and post pics of yourself, look at videos and stuff?
So I figured I had nothing to loose at this point, and went to the site the guy on the video gave me! I sent him and email and I will never forget what he said next. “OBASI I AM GOING TO TEACH YOU HOW TO BRAND YOURSELF!”
He took me under his wing and became my *MENTOR* and taught me how to use the *POWER OF MAKING AMATEUR VIDEO’S FOR PROFIT* & *USING YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, MYSPACE, and other marketing avenues to get the *RIGHT KIND* of people *CALLING ME* that I already know, like, and trust me before we ever speak FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD!
I learned that all I had to do is make simple video’s and post my story in different places online and wow… it just starts making money!
I already am in to computers technology heavily because I am a Graphic Designer by trade, so I figured this is a “no brainer” I can make videos of my story all day long. But with amazement my video’s got me real results…
In less than 90 days I started to receive that would change my life and financial future forever….
I found achieving success in any business is a so much easier when you have a *NEVER ENDING STREAM* of people *CALLING YOU* instead of chasing down family and friends like I HATED to do!
When they call you it’s pretty cool, Guess what? Now I don’t mind going to the mailbox anymore! People send me check’s sometimes before they even talk to me!
