Lose Weight In A Week With These Three Steps

Entirely too many people are carrying extra weight around these days. There are both genetic and environmental reasons for this problem. And the truth is, some of us are looking for ways to lose weight fast. This article will look at three different weight loss plans designed to help you shed pounds in just one week.

It’s important to know that the human body is 75 percent water. Therefore, we need a great amount of water to sustain our bodies. Our bodies have evolved to the point where we store up this water in case we need it. There are about 5 to 8 pounds of water in our bodies that we don’t need. And how do we reduce this water weight? It may sound strange, but by simply drinking more water, we can re-program the body not to keep this excess supply. If you take in a gallon of water daily, you’ll let your body know that you get plenty of water each day, and as a result it doesn’t need to store it as often.

The second one-week weight loss plan is to eat a diet composed entirely of fruits and vegetables. The calorie count for a large green salad is very low. You’ll get a lot more fiber, as well as bring down the amount of calories you take in. Your bowels will work more efficiently, taking out unneeded waste that we usually just store in our intestines.

The third weight loss plan combines the essential elements of the first two. Still as simple as the first two, increasing the amount of water you drink and fruits & vegetables you eat. In addition, keeping the body healthy requires consumption of moderate amounts of meat, poultry, and fish for protein and grains for carbohydrates. Carbohydrates supply the fuel for your body, protein the building blocks for muscle, water to lubricate, and fiber to cleanse. The proper fuel and natural reduction in calories will result in weight loss.

This third plan is not as radical as the other options, and you won’t see as rapid a weight loss, but it is a more balanced approach, easier to begin, and easier to stay on. Just changing your diet from one of processed or fast foods to whole, healthy foods will reduce your calorie intake while fueling your body for life.

Following plan three, a balanced healthy diet, could cause you to lose between 8 and 20 pounds in a single week. This assumes, of course, that the body has that much extra weight to lose. And since most of us do, this weight loss goal is worth considering.
